In line with our core value of sustainable development of host communities and as part of our corporate socialresponsibility, Total Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited (TEPNG) is committed to contributing to human capacity development through the implementation of various categories of Education Assistance Award to supportthe educational developmentof our host communities. This effort is to boost the manpower base of the communities and prepare youths to take up challenging job opportunitieswithin and outside the oil and gas industry.
The company hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for its 2011/2012 community Education Assistance Awardsfor post secondary studentsfrom our OML 58 host communities, Andoni, Mgbuesilaru, Rebisi, Rumuogba Rivers State and Akwa Ibom State in tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
WHO IS QUALIFIED TO APPLY?
The NNPC/TEPNG Community Education Assistance Award is open to all duly admitted and full time Nigerian students (year 1 & 2) from Rivers and Akwa-Ibom States (as above) in tertiary institutions in Nigeria and who are NOT beneficiaries of any other scholarships. In addition to the above conditions, statedin the application form, candidates must show:
- Proof of SSCE or equivalent certificate,
- Proof of UME scores and admission to the course of study

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application forms must be completed online using the link ( http://scholarships.totalsdd.com ).
Application will close three weeks from the date of thispublication. Selection tests will hold on 12 th November, 2011 in Port Harcourt and Uyo. Please note that only short listed candidates would be contacted for the tests.

All candidates who made the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun their 1st or 2nd choice and have scored 180 and above in the June 2011 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board UTME are invited to take the Post- Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME) screening of the University scheduled to hold on 3rd September, 2011 .

Only candidates who have five (5)credits at one sitting are eligible to apply.
Candidates awaiting results whose full results will be released by August 31 , 2011 maybe considered for the 2011/2012 admissions exercise.

Method of Application
Candidates are to pay non- refundable processing fee of N2,000 only into the University account.
